Sharon Burgmayer, W. Alton Jones Professor of Chemistry, and graduate students Benjamin Williams and Douglas Gisewhite traveled to Sintra, Portugal to participate in the international Conference on Molybdenum and Tungsten Enzymes. Both Prof. Burgmayer, who co-chaired the conference, and Ben Williams were invited to speak to present recent results from the Burgmayer labs.

GSAS Graduates and Students win Faculty Positions
Jui-Ch’I, PhD History of Art, was recently appointed as professor and chair of the Graduate Institute for Studies in Visual Cultures at National Yang-Ming University.
Ryan Fealy, PhD expected in October 2013, has begun a position as Assistant Professor in Chemistry at Bucks County Community College where he will be teaching General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and developing an on-line hybrid course for nurses.
Diane Amoroso O-Connor, a current PhD candidate in Greek, Latin and Classical Studies, has been appointed as an adjunct professor at Ursinus College this fall where she will be teaching Elementary Greek and Roman Comedy.
Archeology MA Takes Intern at the Met
Christina Marinelli, MA ’13 has accepted an internship at the Metropolitan Museum of Art this fall in the Education Department, where she will be helping to develop Gallery Talks, lectures, short courses, and other programs for the exhibitions.
